This is our time capsule

which won't be wiped off for the next few decades...

home

home is an encounter
a crush of water and an island
within the infinite river

pieces of puzzles
pieces of clods
chafed by the river, fumbling for a longer-lasting touch
unable to sink
unable to sink, into the continent
from the flow of life

paralyze me with your waves
wash me away
drawn me and close my eyes…

until we wake up in the sands one day
under the sun, on the edge of this island
and find one another

oh before the tide takes me along again
before the sun burns us down

Let’s just lie here

Let’s just lie here

remaining the fractions of this puzzle
a vague picture of homeland

haphazardly pieced together, an oasis
settling on the mirage of the rest of the world…

Thank God we're all living the dream

I can't imagine being bound by the shackles of money, haha.

Really, can you imagine working some job you don't care about, all so you can pay for insurance and gas for a vehicle, pay your cell phone and internet bills, buy "cool" clothes the same as everyone else is wearing, and get drunk and high?

Can you imagine working all year only for a couple of weeks of vacation?  Hahaha, imagine that?  Going somewhere like Cuba, Florida, Dominican or Vegas to sit in a resort and dull your senses, wits, to make an ass out of yourself, with alcohol for your "reward" hahah.  And THEN put the pictures up for all to see and think its cool hahahah.  And this is only when your employer or company says "Okay go have a bit of fun, but hurry up or I'll fire you so you can go find another asshole like me to work for."  Hahaha those poor freaks, wake up in the morning not even wanting to get out of bed, knowing its another day of selling their soul.

Imagine working for the majority of your life just so when you have grey hair you can RETIRE and get a caravan/trailer and actually go see the world but when your hip is too sore to even take a walk, climb a waterfall, can't even climb a hill nevermind a mountain to catch a sunset.

And all the money you made and spent was towards nothing you care about, nothing that inspired you.  Imagine that haha, not even caring because there was nothing to care ABOUT, nothing to hold sacred, no hero, no inspiration, just FOLLOWING the rest of the FLOCK OF SHEEP.  Sheep people haha, Sheeple.  Hahah geez, imagine that?  What a heartbreaking thought.  People living their lives like they're in highschool haha, never taking a step forwards without checking first what all the other sheep will think.  Too scared to leave the warmth of the flock.  Too scared of wolves, and mountain lions.  Too scared to even talk to another person who doesn't look like another sheep-person.  Still trying to be the coolest sheep.  Don't worry sheep, you are cool, deep down beneath the default color wool you have your individuality, your creativity, your hopes and fears.  Oh poor sheep, wandering around not knowing where you're going with 50 cent as your shepherd.

Oh hello there sheep, I didn't see you behind me there!  What?  You're wondering how to not be a sheep?  Oh well I'm not sure what to tell you actually.  Oh, its just a tip you want?  Oh okay, perhaps I've got one or two to share.  Take off your sheep clothes for one, yeah thats great, sheep shoes too.  Okay take these boots, put them on.  Okay now stand up on your own two feet.  Well done!  Now see that mountain over there?  Go climb it and watch the sunset, but don't wait around the sun will be down soon and the LAST thing you want to do is wait until tommorow.

Well there goes one sheep on its way to being a human.  Godspeed.

What's your current best definition of permacuture?

Bill Mollison: You could say it's a rational man's approach to not shitting in his bed.

natural was the static..."
